Humans and Humans Helping Horses
Program and Horse Rescue
Humans programs are designed
for participants of all ages. This program is designed to help special needs people,
including those with
ADD, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, Multiple Sclerosis, Depression, and Post Traumatic Stress
Syndrome (PTS), and those who are developmentally disabled. Equine-assisted
program is a mystery but we know that
the horses help people work through sadness, grief, fear, and uncertainty,
teaching us to respect boundaries and develop self control.
Being first is possible on a horse! Muscle movement is easier and fun when
you are on a horse! The horse builds self confidence and independence with
each individual. Every horse is different and so is every person.
Equine-assisted riding is designed to enhance self esteem, improve focus and
have fun too.
Herd dynamics and individual recognition and understanding leadership styles
fosters a deeper understanding of self.
is the Teacher!
Respect for self, peers and animals are natural results from
learning decision making, improved self-esteem and better communication
skills - all outcomes from a positive, unique experience with horses.

building, self esteem, safety awareness improve our ability to communicate
and carry over into our everyday lives; at home, at school, and at work.
